I want to thank you for writing this beautiful tribute. It came up on my search of criticism of The Teenage Liberation Handbook. I have been in education for 25 years, both higher ed and more recently k-12, and as my own two daughters struggle through middle and high school, I am desperate for alternatives. No matter what I try within the system, the "changes" are piecemeal and ad hoc, depressing in the lack of vision given all that could be done. I can't wait to read Grace's book, and now yours, too!
