I think I know exactly what you are talking about. As I write this I have a view of Mt. Fuji as I am headed to see an old friend. A friend who I met when we were both 19, an eon ago. We will reconnect like it was yesterday and I will be part of her family of 19 like I had never left. That is the power of life, of love, for one another. Life is what you make it. I am so happy for you! Darleen
Thanks Blake for keeping these speks of light alive. They shed light onto new real worlds. The sharing of your experience reminds me that I'm not crazy. You've seen something beautifull too! These new real worlds, are there, they are just intermitent to the eye and the other senses. but in our hearts we sense them increasingly permanent. These glimpses are picking up pace as the old real worlds crumble. Thanks for sharing.
I think I know what you're getting at, that maybe your life has to be "unreality" because it is funded by lots of "reality" that you don't participate in. It's an interesting thought. To me these seem like relative rather than absolute questions. Humans look for patterns and contrast begs questions. Seems fine for "unreality" to continue a while longer until something about "reality" draws you in. Maybe it never will!
Anyway, probably a better trail conversation that a substack comment. Fun piece, as always.

A trail conversation for sure! Thanks, Valjean.
> Can I make life one long summer camp, an unending hike in the mountains, a voyage without destination, an infinite Angel Walk?
this reminded me of the quote:
“A good traveler has no fixed plans and is not intent on arriving.” — Lao Tzu
Thank you for another beautiful post.
